Outdoor Line Array Subwoofer 18 inchLAC-S2 is composed of a single 18 inch unit plus a single 15 inch unit, cardioid line array subwoofer. It can be used to match the full frequency line array speaker LAC, which can extend the low frequency response of the system.

The structure of the LAC-S2 is a 18 inch woofer in the front and a 15 inch woofer behind it. Pass through digital sound processor adding delay and reverse processing, the bass energy on the front of the speaker is superimposed, and the speaker energy of the backside is offset.

Because the directivity of the traditional subwoofer is all directional, it belongs to 360°diffusion, so in most conventional subwoofer, there's a lot of bass energy behind the subwoofer. In practical applications, this part of the bass behind the speakers will seriously interfere the sound monitoring system on the stage, influenced the performance of the actors. Usually the way to deal with this situation is: Adjust the position of subwoofer, speaker processor tuning, to get a directionality cardioid bass array. However, such practices are very complicated on the spot, and LAC-S2 speaker solves this series of complicated things, just use the factory preset program,then you can get directional bass effects.
